My name is Steve Clark. Together with six other members, I founded the organization PEW International e.V. in 2017.
I received my first call to missions at the tender age of 10 at a children's crusade. Some of my peers and I gave our lives to Jesus there. The missionary expressed her impression that those children would one day go on a world mission. With a certain inner tension in our luggage, this inner destiny rested for a long time - until the wake-up call in 2016.
A call from my pastor during a staff service opened my heart.
According to his opinion and vision, every employee should use his annual leave once in his life to be active in the mission for four to six weeks. Only then would we have a different picture of the mission for the world. Immediately I felt the childhood encounter and set out on the journey....
Through some further spiritual events I gained my first experience in the Philippines and today I am grateful that PEW Mission Philippines was allowed to grow out of it. Since then, I have been working in close contact with my local leaders to build up the Kids-Ministry in Naval, Biliran. Twice a year I am on site. Our partners in the Philippines are Help International in Manila Cainta and the New Life Church in Manila Tondo with Pastor Herbie.
